About Canadian Mental Health Association Mid-Island

Canadian Mental Health Association, Mid-Island Branch (CMHA MI) is a not-for-profit, charitable organization providing housing, homelessness, biopsychosocial-spiritual and harm reduction services on Vancouver Island from the Nanaimo Regional District to the Comox Valley.

Based in Nanaimo, CMHA MI has been in operation since the early 1950s. We facilitate access to the resources people require to maintain and improve mental health and community integration, build resilience, and support recovery from mental illness.
